Common questions
Is there a free trial? +
14 days, no credit card required. Build and publish as many courses as you want during the trial. After 14 days you pick a plan or your courses go read-only until you do — they're never deleted.
Can I import existing SCORM courses? +
Not directly — Expertle generates SCORM, it doesn't parse it. If you've got an existing course you want to gamify, paste the unit code and Expertle re-drafts from the unit. We've found this gives a better result than parsing legacy SCORM anyway.
Does it work with my LMS? +
If your LMS accepts SCORM 1.2, yes — Moodle, Canvas, TalentLMS, LearnDash, RTO Grow, axcelerate, Wisenet. We test against the major AU LMSes monthly. If yours isn't on the list, drop us a line and we'll test it.
Is the AI content auditable? +
Every section is mapped to a Performance Criterion, Performance Evidence point, or Knowledge Evidence statement at the time of generation. The mapping persists through edits. Every change to the content is timestamped and attributed (AI draft / human edit). PDF audit pack export is one click.
Do you offer RTO-wide licensing? +
Yes — RTO plan from $499/mo includes unlimited courses and unlimited learners on your hosted portal. Bigger RTOs get custom volume pricing. Talk to us at hello@expertle.com.au.
What about training.gov.au updates? +
When a unit gets superseded or updated, we notify you and offer a one-click migration to the new unit version. The new mapping respects your edits — you only re-edit content where the unit's evidence requirements actually changed.
How does the Stripe payment integration work? +
Stripe Connect Express. You connect your own Stripe account at signup; payments flow direct to you. Stripe takes 1.75% + 30c, we take a 3% platform fee. So you keep ~95% of course revenue. Refunds, subscriptions, free codes — all standard.
What happens if I cancel? +
Your published SCORM packages keep working forever — they're self-contained files. Your hosted student portal stays live for 30 days, then archives. You can export all course source content and learner data anytime.
Do you do data residency in Australia? +
Yes — all customer data is stored in Australian regions (Firebase asia-southeast1 or AWS ap-southeast-2 depending on the service). The AI provider is OpenAI / Anthropic; prompts are non-training and we have a Zero Data Retention agreement in place.
